Who we are

Operion provides an engineering team health and delivery analytics platform (the “Service”). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we handle it, and the rights you have over it. For privacy matters, contact hello@operion.app.

Data we collect

We collect what we need to run the Service, and nothing more.

  • Account and profile data you provide, such as name and work email.
  • Billing data, handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Engineering metadata from sources you connect, such as commit, pull request, and issue activity. We never access your source code.
  • Usage and device data, such as log data and IP address, plus error and performance monitoring.

How we use data

  • Provide, operate, and secure the Service.
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Produce the analytics and dashboards that are the core of the Service.
  • Communicate with you about your account, support, and service updates.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate security incidents and abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data.

  • Access, correct, delete, or export your personal data.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • For EU and UK residents, the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
  • For California residents, the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information.

To exercise any right, contact hello@operion.app. Where Operion processes data on behalf of a customer, we will refer your request to that customer.

Data retention and security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. We protect personal data with technical and organizational measures, including tenant data isolation, access controls scoped to each account, encryption in transit, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
